Senator Pam Beidle has served in the Maryland Senate since 2019, she currently serves as Chair of the Finance Committee and previously served as Chair of the Executive Nominations Committee. Beidle served on the Anne Arundel County Council 1998 to 2006 and the House of Delegates, 2007 to 2019, where she served as Chair of the Motor Vehicle and Transportation sub-committee. As Chair of the Finance Committee Beidle has been a leader on health care for Maryland. Pam retired in 2017 after serving as President of Beidle Insurance Agency for 38 years. She currently serves as managing partner for Glen Oak Professional Center LLC.
Pam Beidle represents District 32, northwest Anne Arundel County, she is proud to represent the community where she grew up. Pam currently serves as a Director with Arundel Bank, the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center, and The BWI Business Partnership. Pam is the Senate appointment to the Chesapeake Bay Trust.
As an active member of Anne Arundel County community her entire adult career, Pam has earned numerous awards for her work as a volunteer and for her leadership, most notably the Leadership Anne Arundel Distinguished Alumni Award, The Maryland Hospital Association Legislator of the year Award, and the MedChi Legislative McLaughlin Award. In 2021 Beidle was honored to be added to the Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce Hall of Fame. In December of 2024 Beidle was recognized with the Marliyn J Praisner Leadership Award from the Maryland Association of Counties.
Pam graduated from Anne Arundel Community College and Magna Cum Laude from Towson University. In 2025 Pam was recognized with the Towson Distinguished Alumni Award. Pam and her husband, Len live in Linthicum. They have 3 adult children and 7 grandchildren.
